I have always found this area of the suburb, Maple Grove, fascinating. People call these the "sandpits." I sometimes call them the Maple Grove Mountains. I have been waiting for it to snow, to get some shots of them covered in snow...
This is a suburb that grew very quickly, but there are also these areas of open space and sandpits. From many homes, this is the view they see.
